We are looking for a driven, tenacious, and highly skilled salesperson to join our data & insights scale-up. As our Business Development Manager, you would manage the growth of our network of clients through prospecting, outreach, and ultimately bringing home the won business.

You would be selling subscriptions to our online data platform, activity briefings, data feed, and insight reports.

Key day-to-day responsibilities:
Overall, a Business Development Manager at SIGWATCH is responsible for acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth for the company. Day-to-day work includes:
- Prospecting: Identifying and researching potential clients who could benefit from the platform's offerings.
- Outreach: Reaching out to prospects through various channels, such as calling, email, or social media.
- Demonstrations: Presenting the platform's features and benefits to potential clients, both online and in-person.
- Needs Analysis: Understanding the specific needs and pain points of potential clients.
- Proposal Development: Creating tailored proposals that address the client's needs and showcase the value of the platform.
- Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and pricing terms with potential clients.
- Closing Deals: Securing new business deals.
- Market Research: Keeping up-to-date on industry trends relevant to our products and customers.
- Sales specialist: Onboard new clients and demo sessions tailored to the individual needs of the account and end-user using a consultative and dynamic approach
- Insights: Learn, comprehend, and demonstrate why and how each of our client types (and user personas) engage with our product and our data
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Between 3-6 years of sales experience in a relevant field, plus a growth mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office and ability to pick up new systems and software easily
- Interest in the stakeholder monitoring & sustainability.
Start date: January 2025
