Position: Open Market Account Manager
Job location: Reading, UK (will move to London Paddington in H2 2024)
Job Description:
- Lead the introduction and management of Honor’s products, planning and forecasting, promotional planning, merchandising, and account management.
- Developing strategic partnerships to maximise territory opportunities through key Retailer accounts and meeting sales quotas.
- Creating and manage a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy to prospective customers in collaboration with your partners and HONOR’s distribution partners.
- Becoming a subject matter expert on Honor propositions and products to effectively identify potential customers/partners.
- Managing and leading in negotiations when recruiting with designated partners to ensure a seamless service.
- Focuses on Honor branded hardware across product categories
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retailers in your accounts
- Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
- Ensure the timely delivery of services and products to clients
- Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust
- Read reports of subordinates and communicate overall quarterly/annual progress to senior management and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong preference for candidates with experience working with Tier-1 National Retailers in telecoms or consumer electronics sectors.
- 3+ years’ experience within the technology industry
- Experience managing a sales relationship for a Tier 1 technology brand.
- Strong understanding of mobile market, retail pipeline, promotional planning and lifecycle management.
- Relationship management experience, with a track record in reaching/exceeding quotas.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems and scale across a large organisation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Language: Fluent English
