We are looking for Senior Claims Technician to join our global Financial Services client’s Insurance Claims team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Claims Technician, you’ll be responsible for handling complex Property claims, such as fires or floods.
Our client empowers people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at one of their office locations in Ipswich, Bolton or Birmingham.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
You’ll have extensive experience in handling high value and complex commercial property claims, with a settlement of at least £500k.
You’ll be educated to A-Level or degree standard, or have an equivalent professional qualification (ACII/FCII/CILA).

Developed communication and interpersonal skills and influencing and negotiating skills.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Pro-active management of a portfolio of claims with a potential of £500K+ from notification through to settlement.
Delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend.
Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community.
Building excellent working relationships with Loss Adjusters and other suppliers.
Regular communication with policyholders and their representatives and underwriting colleagues.
