Marketing Manager
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a new Community and Performance Marketing Manager to join our ONCAMPUS Marketing team.
The Community and Performance Manager role at Cambridge Education Group will drive brand growth and engagement by overseeing social media strategies, collaborating with content creators for user-generated content (UGC) and responsible for the management of all digital performance activity. The position reports to the Deputy Marketing Director (Corporate) and will work closely with the Direct Sales Team, and our Global Marketing Team and business development leads.
With proven experience in social media management, community growth and social media advertising, you will be focusing on growing and engaging our social media community by developing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. You will be working with content creators and ambassadors to generate user-generated content (UGC).
As part of this role, previous line management experience is desirable.
The role is on a full-time, permanent basis. The ONCAMPUS Marketing team is based in Cambridge under the Hybrid Working pattern with 2 days in the office.

Key responsibilities:
- To develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of each brand.
- To oversee digital marketing campaigns by planning, implementing, and optimising campaigns.
- To analyse and report on website performance and regularly assess website performance data and provide detailed reports on key metrics to implement enhancements.
- To develop and implement SEO strategies by creating content plans, conducting keyword research, and writing and optimising website content to improve search engine rankings.
- To use a variety of tools to compile and draw insight from both sector-specific and generic industry data in order to better understand user trends and behaviour and add context to the performance of each campaign.
- To gather regular feedback from the Direct Sales Team on the lead quality and implement campaign improvements and to manage operational budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target.
- To ensure knowledge of the digital marketing industry is kept up to date and relevant networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources.
Person Specification & experience we look for:
- Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent marketing qualifications (essential)
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a marketing role, within a commercially driven environment (essential)
- Proven experience in social media management, community growth and social media advertising (essential)
- Demonstrated success in working with influencers and generating UGC (essential)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role within marketing (essential)
- Strong background in analysing website performance and implementing SEO strategies (essential)
- Experience managing a wide range of digital marketing projects and campaigns (essential)
- Experience with social media advertising (essential)
- Experience of working with analytical software (essential)
