The Opportunity
As a Procurement Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the procurement and sourcing process. You will collaborate with the Procurement Manager, Accounts Department, and Client Service Managers to facilitate the issuance of quotations, purchase orders, and expediting deliveries. Additionally, you will manage the tracking of goods ordered but not received, and support the stock management process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of purchases essential for the business's operational functions. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in supplier management to monitor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities:
Review, log, and process new procurement jobs using ERP and CRM systems.
Ensure systems are updated with the latest products and best pricing information.
Assist Client Service Managers in navigating job processing within the system.
Expedite all purchase orders and maintain up-to-date systems with crucial delivery dates and details.
Collaborate with warehousing to manage stock and forecast effectively.
Aid in the invoicing process for supplier invoices.
Monitor supplier delivery performance and prepare analysis for the Procurement Manager.
Cultivate and nurture key supplier relationships.
Communicate externally with freight forwarders, suppliers, and shopfitters.
Support the Procurement Manager and Commercial Director in securing new business, and managing client communications, and briefs.
Skills and Experience:
Strong communication skills
Proficient numerical abilities
Process-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement
Effective organisational, customer service, and planning skills
Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
High energy levels and a results-driven approach
