1st Line IT Technician
Salary: £26k DOE
Reporting to: IT Manager
Working Pattern: 37.5 per week 06.00 – 14.30 but some longer hours may be necessary
Location: On Site, Preston
Connect IT has partnered with a leading food production company, looking for the first point of contact to support their IT function
We are looking for someone who is resourceful, able to work independently and with the resilience to manage workload in a high-pressure environment.
A practical aptitude is also necessary as the role will be focussed on providing first-response support to our production environment.
This will involve a mix of hardware (label printers for example) and software troubleshooting and resolution.
Commercial experience in some of the following is preferred:

Windows Server OS

M365 admin
-
Basic network troubleshooting

Setting up new PCs/phones

Ad-hoc cabling and hardware repairs

Being the first point of contact for IT issues
Personal attributes:

Very good spoken and written English

Competency in the use of Excel and other standard office productivity tools

An organised approach to workload management
