Software Procurement Project Manager (Contract Role)

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site meetings in Yorkshire)

Contract Length: 3 months with scope to extend for a further 3 months

Day Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)

We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Software Procurement Project Manager to take charge of sourcing and acquiring an off-the-shelf recruitment software solution for our client’s division. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to define project scope, perform in-depth market research, and manage the entire procurement process from tender to contract finalisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering: Identify and document software requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research to evaluate potential suppliers and solutions.
Tender Management: Lead and manage the full tender process, from preparation to vendor selection.
Vendor Evaluation: Assess and compare vendors based on quality, cost, and suitability.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure favourable agreements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, finance, and business leaders, to ensure alignment throughout the project.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant policies and report on project progress to management.
