Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced mid-level* Environmental Geologist at Cornwall Mining Consultants in Camborne. You will be responsible for liaising with clients; researching, designing and conducting field work, environmental consulting, soil analysis, and contaminated land assessments on a regular basis. You will also be trained in mining subsidence research and assessment and on-site mining hazard investigation.

Qualifications

Field Work and Geological Assessment skills
Environmental Consulting expertise
Minimum 2-years practical experience*
Experience of the CLEA model
Knowledge of CL:AIRE
Strong background in Geology
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field

Geotechnical and Slope Stability
Geology or Mining History of South West
Mining subsidence assessment and remediation
Ground water and Ground gas assessment

Starting salary £25k to £30k pa*
