The Whipton Surgery is a well-established GP practice providing medical services in Exeter. Our team consist of 2 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, practice nurses and HCAs who provide care for our 5,000 registered patients.

We are a GP training practice and have 1st and 2nd year medical students in attendance. We use SystmOne clinical software, and we are supported by a wide range of attached staff including physio, social prescribers, a mental health and well-being support team, pharmacist,

community team, health visitor, etc. We are actively involved with our PCN to provide additional services to our patients. We achieve high levels of QOF targets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our hard-working and fun team for 4 sessions per week, starting in January 2025. We will accommodate a flexible working pattern for the right individual. We are also happy to support portfolio career.

Our GPs triage all requests for appointments, make full use of Patient Triage, and face-to-face appointments are 15 minutes. 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave is on offer. We would welcome enquiries from newly qualified as well as experienced GPs. We hold quarterly ½ days

development days.
