Location: Based out of our Bellshill office (ML4 3NP) with regular site visits.
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 a year, DOE.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

Quantity Surveyor - About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial efficiency and profitability of our projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts and costs.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure project compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to manage project costs.
• Analyse project specifications and drawings to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all work complies with statutory and contractual obligations.
• Prepare and present financial reports, valuations, and claims.
• Assist in the procurement process and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the roofing and cladding sector but not essential.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant legislation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
