Job title:Principal Engineer – Data Quality and Governance

Salary: Up to £52,000 (depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the delivery of the Date Governance / Assurance framework to the RCD Programme
- Delivery of data governance and assurance awareness and training across the business
- The creation of the programme’s data models and Information Asset Register
- Creation of specification documents for new data management requirements
- Implementation of Data Principles across the programme
- Ensuring the resolution of data quality issues are completed and suitable processes are in place to stop repeat of issue
- Maintaining and assuring Data Standards and Policies
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Good engineering and data quality knowledge
- IT skills, Microsoft and Excel for data analytics
Desirable:
- Experience leading a team
- The ability to articulate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience using Tableau and Jira

The Data Quality and Governance Team:
The Principal Data Governance Engineer will work closely with key stakeholders within the programme identifying and resolving data quality issues. Implementing the data governance framework within the programme.
