The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Site Finance Controller to join our Pontefract site. As the Site Finance Controller the successful candidate would be a member of the sites leadership team. They would play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations at our site, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the site of over 140 employees and a turnover beyond £40 million.
What will you be doing?
- Work as part of the leadership team to drive the site’s OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures) & G2G (Good to Great) Targets Setting, Tracking & Delivery and ensure alignment within KP as well as at Intersnack Group Level.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial reports and KPIs for site. Meaningfully communicate these to all areas of the business.
- Monitor and control site budgets
- Coach and support teams on the shop floor adhering to IWS ways of working
- Act as Deputy Lead on the Focussed Improvement and Work Process Improvement Pillar Activities and be an active member of the Supply Network pillar.
- Site lead for site financial planning, budgeting and forecasting - including primes, overheads, logistics and capital.
- Management of site accruals and prepayments as well as inventory reconciliations
- Support with annual audit for external auditor queries related to manufacturing site
- Capital project approval and investment appraisal. Asset management including timely additions, disposals and verification.
- Complete product costings for new product development and tender processes
- Management and oversight of year end inventory processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Play an integral part in change programs across the site focusing on supporting new product launches and capital installations, including all Project Tracking, e.g., waste, energy benefits.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Fully Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA
- Previous experience worked on site in a manufacturing environment in a similar role (BOMs/variance analysis)
- Experience in forecasting
- Planning and budgeting experience
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems
