Stannah have an exciting opportunity for an Out of Hours Department Manager to join the Out of Hours Department based at Dartford.
This job will involve overseeing the smooth operation of the Out of Hours (OOH) Department, managing a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service during evenings, weekends, nights, and bank holidays. The Out of Hours service delivery is part of our National Service Branch Teams enabling 24 hour, 7 days a week support.
As the Out of Hours Department Manager, you will work 37 hours per week, with the flexibility required to meet business needs. This job is a permanent role.

To be successful as the Out of Hours Department Manager, it is essential that you have previous experience in service-driven operations or call centre leadership. Experience in the vertical transportation industry or a similar field-based service sector would be desirable.
Out of Hours Department Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing the OOH team in Dartford, ensuring excellent service delivery and adherence to safety standards.
- Motivating, coaching, and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
- Monitoring performance metrics and resolving escalations to maintain exceptional customer service.
- Overseeing rota planning, resource allocation, and telephony system reporting.
- Acting as the senior point of contact for OOH queries, complaints, and escalations.
- Supporting innovation, including potential lift monitoring technologies like IoT systems.
Out of Hours Department Manager Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a service-driven, operations, or call centre environment.
- A coaching mindset with a passion for employee development and customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours and occasional travel as required.
