Driver Resource Recruitment are seeking to recruit a HGV Class 1 Night Driver for our Client based in Ashby. Job duties include:
- Delivering general haulage to RDCs or pet food to stores.
- Ensuring all units and trailers/Moffetts are checked as per process and are legal to be on the road.
- Load security includes strapping using internal and ratchet strapping.
- Delivering to all parts of UK and to store deliveries - you may be required to go out with a Keyholder for certain store deliveries.
- Paperwork is completed as per process and good communication via the transport night team.
- Flexible start times and overtime available.
- Average shift length 10 12 hours.
- Filling up at the end of the shift.
- Moffett training will be given to the right applicant.
PAYE RATE FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
£16.87 holiday is based on average hours
What we are looking for:
A valid full category HGV (Class 1) NEW PASSES WELCOME
No more than 6points on driving licence.
NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions
Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria
Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
