Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer. The role involves developing real-time systems application software for the next generation of missile systems. This technical position requires designing, implementing, and testing safety-critical actuator subsystem software for missile products. The ideal candidate should be highly capable and adaptable and will join the Development Facility located in Bristol.
What we're looking for:
The individual has extensive experience in developing complex real-time software. They possess a solid understanding of UML, with a preference for experience using Rhapsody. Their strong Ada programming skills are complemented by their excellent problem-solving capabilities, particularly in investigating software and hardware issues. They have experience working on safety-critical software (SIL2 or equivalent) and have previously worked with embedded software in a laboratory setting. Additionally, they are proficient in using configuration control tools such as RTC.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
