Experienced Butcher

Salary: £30,500

Location: Shirehampton High Street, Bristol

Our Client

Our client is a family-run butcher shop, now part of a larger food wholesaler with a long-standing tradition of providing high-quality meats and exceptional customer service.

The shop is known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join the team and help them to supply their customers both retail and wholesale.

A full-block test will be required as part of the interview process.

Working days: 6 days per week; 44.5 hours per week

Monday: 06:30 - 13:00
Tuesday: 06:30 - 15:00
Wednesday: 06:30 - 13:00
Thursday: 06:00 - 15:00
Friday: 06:00 - 15:00
Saturday: 06:00 - 14:00

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry.
Ensure all products are prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
Provide excellent customer service.
Occasional work in the shop.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

Proven 3 years' experience as a Butcher.
Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
