Maternity Cover Position MPS (expected to run until July 2025)
One of our lovely primary schools in South Derbyshire are looking for a PPA Teacher to support them in 2025. Please see the advert below for more details:
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who has had recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2. We wish to appoint someone who can bring enthusiasm and innovation into our school and to actively support the Senior Leadership Team in achieving the schools aims and upholding their values. Whilst we would welcome applications from teachers with a particular interest and specialism in music, this is not essential and all applications will be considered as this role can be varied for the right applicant.
We have an excellent, vibrant staff and all applicants will need to be team players. Planning, preparation and assessment are often done collaboratively and we shall be seeking a candidate with the skills necessary to do this effectively; showing a commitment to the team, being reflective and modelling good practice. The right candidate will have a track record of achieving rapid and sustained pupil progress and will be a practitioner who puts the well-being of the children at the heart of all they do.
Support for new members of staff will be provided. Should the successful applicant be an ECT then they will receive the support of one of our experienced members of staff, to further assist and guide them through the induction period.
