Caseworker
Salary: £26,460 per annum + Benefits - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews
Part-time role - Upto 18.5 hours per week (flexible working pattern)
Covering Dorset - Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion).
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to people on probation or leaving custody.
What you will be doing?
- Delivering a suite of workshops to individuals and/or groups of Service Users
- Preparing & agreeing individual action plans
- Providing specialist level Debt Casework
To be successful you will require;
- Working with local probation services & supporting service users with finance, benefit and debt assessments and action plans
Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc - Case Management experience (i.e dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations)
- The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe
