Hanson Recruitment are working with an innovative SEN school in Bristol. We are looking for creative and outdoor-loving Teacher who can share this school's passion for experiential learning and contemporary outdoor learning approach. They are currently looking to recruit a SEN Teacher with passion for Trauma Informed teaching/Art/Carpentry/Outdoors/Core Subjects. This SEN Teacher role is full-time and long-term and it is likely to become contract in the future for the right special needs teacher.But, part-time applicants are encouraged to apply if they are available immediately/soon.
Ideal Teacher candidate will be a nature loving Teacher who has a keen interest in Teaching Secondary aged pupils with additional needs and puts emphasis on emotional and mental health well-being. They will be expected to teach all subjects with strength in English and PSHE possibly at a Year 6 Level as well as other subjects. We are looking for someone with genuine interest in making the young people's lives better and enhance their learning and emotional development. If you like being outdoors come rain and shine, love being surrounded by people who cares about children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and you are also into sustainability, nature, animals with the occasional fruit picking, look no further. This school is unlike no other and an amazing place to work with a curriculum focus on making, doing and creating, taking part in meaningful activities that engage hand, head and heart.
Pay Rate: £130 - £220 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This Teaching Job is a full-time role Monday to Friday during school hours.

- Desire to support the whole-person and not just academic achievements.
- Share a love of outdoors, animals, nature and creativity.
- Interest or experience in any of the fields of arts, crafts, commerce, agriculture, nutrition, living skills and the environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy
