We are seeking a talented and versatile Chef de Partie (Variable Hours) to join our dynamic culinary team in our Catering and Retail Services (CRS) office in the House of Lords.
As a Variable Hours Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining by supporting our culinary operations across various shifts and locations. Your ability to adapt to different stations, menus, and service styles will be essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and consistency.
This is an opportunity to work onsite at Parliament! Your passion will shine through the dishes you help create and feel comfortable to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
Youll be accountable to:
- Oversee and manage the operation of an assigned section.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean, organised, and in good working condition.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and organised your work area.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the CRS Standards and standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest quality standards.
- Cook food items according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and taste.
- Minimise food wastage.
