Social Purpose Officer / Grant Funding Community Investment Coordinator who has experience of partnership development and maintaining successful relationships with funders is required to join a well-established housing association based in Winchester, Hampshire.
Candidates whove worked in similar roles such as a Social Impact Officer, CSR / Corporate Social Responsibility Officer, Community Investment Offer or have worked in a position where youve developed relationships with commissioners and funders and assisted in coordinating grant income and charitable funds would be ideal. Any previous Bids / Tenders writing experience would also be highly desirable.
SALARY: £31,085 - £32,500 per annum (Dependant on experience)+ Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Winchester, Hampshire (SO23) and partly from home

Working as the Social Purpose Officer / Grant Funding Community Investment Coordinator, you will assist in coordinating how grant income, charitable funds, and other forms of added value are obtained, sustained, and prioritised for distribution across the Group to ensure that they meet the needs of organisations customers.
As the Social Purpose Officer / Grant Funding Community Investment Coordinator you will be responsible for support with tenders within Specialist Housing to retain and develop services and meet the departments strategic ambitions for growth.
DUTIES
Your duties as a Social Purpose Officer / Grant Funding Community Investment Coordinator will include:
- Support with tenders within Specialist Housing to retain and develop services and meet the departments strategic ambitions for growth
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Groups social purpose initiatives by effectively identifying, analysing, and submitting tenders for grant funding and charitable resources. Youll ensure that tenders align strategically, are financially viable, and sustainable
- Assist in identifying service delivery gaps within the Operations directorate where grant funding and charitable resources can benefit customers, strengthen the Group, and support growth targets (approximately £300k per annum in revenue)
- Support the mobilisation of new business and initiatives by smoothly transitioning concepts to operational teams, ensuring contractual compliance and prioritising customer satisfaction
- Build relationships with commissioners and funders to maximise opportunities for growth which are multifaceted and benefit customers
- Ensure that the social value generated through service procurement is consistent and aligned with customer needs
- Support with the provision of high-quality performance and impact reports to funders and internal stakeholders
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English (Grades A*-C)
- Able to work effectively and diligently at a fast pace and meet tight deadlines
- Experience of partnership development and maintaining successful relationships with funders
- Proven bid and tender writing experience (desirable)
- Experience of project management, delivery and evaluation, budget management (desirable)
- Experience of fundraising and securing medium and large grants (desirable)
