They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead their team and make a positive impact on the lives of the children.
Role Overview: As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the residential home, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a safe and supportive environment where children can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child, ensuring their emotional, physical, and educational needs are met.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies, advocating for the best interests of the children in our care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability of the home.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:- A relevant management qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships with children and families.
