Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons in History (KS3 to KS5) and Geography (KS3).
- Teach Politics A level, KS4 Geography, and KS4 Global Perspectives (advantageous but not required).
- Contribute to pastoral and co-curricular activities, including serving as a Tutor.
- Support students' learning beyond the classroom, building essential skills for their educational journey and future careers.
- Cultivate strong, respectful relationships between school, students, and families.
Requirements of Humanities Teacher:
- Degree in a relevant Humanities subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching History at KS3-KS5; additional ability to teach Politics A level and KS4 Geography/Global Perspectives is an advantage.
- Enthusiasm for developing students learning skills and engagement across the curriculum.
- Commitment to enhancing student well-being and a willingness to actively participate in co-curricular school life.
