Salary: £47,683+ depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:
\n
- \n
- Designing and documenting engineering application solutions for use in the development of the world’s most advanced Military Aircraft, this includes definition of functional specifications, application architectures, data models, user interfaces, security models and interface specifications\n
- Partnering with teams across the software development lifecycle to provide support, guidance and query resolution\n
- Collaborating with downstream solution providers to ensure compatibility and optimisation with the full end to end product lifecycle\n
- Providing 2nd line specialist support by designing solutions to complex incidents and problems\n
- Configuring of “Commercial Off The Shelf” applications and design of bespoke in-house developments\n

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

- Demonstrable professional background in the IT industry\n
- Demonstrate Experience of Lifecycle Management (PLM) Toolsets (Teamcenter Enterprise or Unified)\n
- Ability to think analytically, to resolve problems and to identify solutions and causes \n
- Configuration management \n

Desirable:

- Knowledge of ITIL V4 terminology \n

The PLM Design team:

This role is for an IM&T Engineering Toolset Design Engineer to bolster the PLM Design team. This team provides WorkFlow/LifeCycle Creation & Configuration to the Engineering userbase of Siemens Teamcenter Enterprise and Unified. You will be responsible for designing and documenting engineering application solutions for use in the development of the world’s most advanced Military Aircraft, this includes definition of functional specifications, application architectures, data models, user interfaces, security models and interface specifications, and partnering with teams across the software development lifecycle to provide support, guidance and query resolution.
