We’re currently looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join us at our Sainsbury’s site in Northampton. You will be responsible for carrying out the clerical functions of the warehouse and operate the computerised elements of the warehouse operational system to ensure the completion of all tasks in line with standards and scheduled requirements.
You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, a 4 week rota pattern, covering the hours of 14:00-22:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Collate and present necessary warehouse and inventory information to the planning team via the Management Information system
- Liaise with colleagues and operational line managers to capture all feedback on warehouse and pick layout in line with seasonal demand and changes to rate of movement to optimise performance KPIs
- Meet and exceed the needs of customers, demonstrating and promoting customer focused approach to operational activities
- Assist with other administrative or support duties where necessary as designate by the line manager
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in administrative function within logistics essential
- Excellent IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Good organisational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Be able to prioritise own workload and work under pressure
