Here at GXO we are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team, working on a 1 Year fixed term contract (maternity cover) at our site in Mossend (ML1 4UY).
You will be working 40 hours per week on any 5 from 7, on a rotating shift with start times of either 08:00, 14:00 or 22:00

As a Transport Coordinator, you’ll receive

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Reporting to the Transportation Manager, with all day-to-day transportation activities
- Meticulous record keeping and accurate data entry
- Communicating with customers and resolving issues
- Liaising with drivers for smooth movement of goods and materials
- Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Administrative experience preferably within a logistics environment
- Computer literate (strong Excel, Word & Email)
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with great attention to detail
- Be able to work cohesively and well with others
