TruffleHunter is an established, branded, fine food business and the market leader in Truffle products in the UK.
We manufacturer and sell a range of branded truffle products to food service and speciality retail channels in the UK and overseas and have a strong ecommerce direct to consumer business.
We are seeking to appoint a Head of UK B2B Sales to grow our existing business in the UK.
Reporting to the CEO, you will take full responsibility for the UK and Export wholesale sales function of the business, managing a small sales support team and delivering the sales targets.

Key accountabilities;
· Devise, develop and deliver the UK B2B sales strategy in conjunction with the CEO and agreed sales targets.
· Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the key customers to ensure their needs are being met and that their business is retained and grown.
· Develop and maintain excellence in customer satisfaction by continuously striving to ensure the team provide excellent service and solutions for customer queries, requests, problems and promotions.
· Work with the CEO to review and optimise the existing product portfolio, services and markets.
· Lead and develop supporting staff to achieve their objectives in sales, customer service and sales support.
· Design, cost and deliver sales promotions for key wholesale customers.
· Ensure that regular reviews are carried out with key customers to ensure that excellent customer service is achieved.
· Represent the company externally e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimise all business development opportunities.
Skills and experience required;
· Minimum of 3 years + gourmet food sales experience in the speciality retail and food service markets
· Proven experience in delivering exacting sales targets and developing new business opportunities
· Experience of preparing proposals and quotes and presenting new products to customers
· Ability to manage and motivate effectively a small sales team
· Sound IT, ERP and CRM skills
· Ability to contribute and work effectively as part of the senior management team
· Ability to effectively communicate at all levels – both verbally and in report writing, with good attention to detail
· Full driving licence
Remuneration Package;
· Base salary circa £50-55,000
· Uncapped commission structure paid quarterly £20,000pa+
