A well-established manufacturer seeking a CNC Miller to join the growing workshop
Key Responsibilities:
Program one-off and small-batch machined components for a variety of industries.
Using Autodesk Powermill software to program CNC machines
Working with a wide range of materials to meet unique customer specifications.
Setting and operating CNC machines
General quality control and checks
Following all safety guidelines
Identifying areas to improve productivity, machining efficiency, or quality of output.
Collaborating with the Senior Production Engineer to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency in production.
Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
2+ years’ experience as a CNC Programmer
Must be able to read engineering drawings
Knowledge of geometric tolerancing
Formal engineering qualification would be advantageous
Knowledge of Powermills would be advantageous
Experience working in highly regulated industries
The Package
The salary for this position is £35,000 - £42,000, plus overtime, for a candidate who meets the key qualifications and skills
