The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior electrical, instrument and control engineer to help deliver and/or manage a diverse range of water engineering projects within our major client portfolios. We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about technical excellence and providing an outstanding service to our clients. You will join our Energy water & Resources team, ideally located in London, but we will consider locations as far as Bristol, Winchester, Solihull or Leeds. You will technically guide/deliver projects to suit your individual skill set and preferred development needs, allowing you the opportunity to learn and grow your career.

Is this role right for you?
Within this role you will build, maintain and manage strong, long-term relationships within Arup and with our clients and stakeholders.
We are seeking a relevant technical qualification with the following skills and knowledge;
- Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality electrical, instrument and control design, and/or energy efficiency, and/or renewable energy, asset energy data operational technology and/or analytics solutions in the UK water and/or energy sectors.
- Experience of successfully working in multi-disciplinary projects ensuring the production of deliverables to agreed timelines and budgets.
- Previous experience in the Water sector.
- Good knowledge of quality assurance systems and various management tools.
- A desire and ability to share knowledge and proactively mentor and manage teams and individuals
- Highly effective and open communications skills
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with a great attention to detail
Desirable criteria would be Chartered status and previous knowledge of the UK water sector, and/or other UK infrastructure sector.
