Senior Hardware Design Engineering opportunity with a business specialised in state of the art broadcast camera products ensuring that the products remain at the cutting edge of innovation.
You will be working with a small and experienced team on hardware architecture, specification and design within a small engineering team that designs electronic and electromechanical systems for the specialist broadcast camera market. You will play a key role in full product lifecycle development from concept to manufacture, delivery, operation and support.
Responsibilities include the design, prototyping, debugging and testing of analogue and digital circuits including: video, audio, RF, microcontrollers, FPGAs, CPLDs, ADCs, DACs etc. and an appreciation of signal integrity issues for high speed digital designs including controlled impedance pcb layer stackup & trace design.
The high speed digital design element is important, the client highlighted even basic Rasberry Pi and similar based systems requires careful pcb design of Gigabit Ethernet and >10Gbps capable USB-C interfaces using controlled impedance pcb layer stack-ups.
The position is onsite in Woking with one or two days per week from home, the client offer a salary of £75k+ great selection of benefits and the opportunity to work with experienced professionals within the state of the art camera broadcast space.
