We're looking for a Principal Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of UK experience to join our client's growing civil structures team in Redhill. With their recent successes across multiple markets-including rail, private sector projects, and local government-the workload is diverse, complex, and consistently rolling in.
As a key player in their well-established team, you'll benefit from the company's excellent reputation in the UK and their commitment to delivering high-quality Civil & Structural design services to a wide range of clients across London and the South East.
What you'll bring:
🔧 Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered MICE or MIStructE preferred)
🔧 Proven experience in temporary works design, including buildability and workshop discussions with contractors
🔧 Ability to design with major materials (RC, steel, masonry, timber)
🔧 Knowledge of BS 5975, Eurocodes, and structural design software
🔧 Skilled in writing sound technical reports
🔧 Ability to self-manage while supporting and mentoring your team
🔧 Experience managing AutoCAD/Revit interfaces
🔧 Rail experience preferred
