Rushton Electronics is a small electronics design consultancy.
Due to increasing client demand we are looking for a talented engineer to take responsibility for new projects and assist with existing projects. The successful candidate will also assist in developing in-house products in the space sensing sector.
As a small company the role will require working in a dynamic and fast paced environment which will require flexibility and enthusiasm. In return, there will be the opportunity to work on any aspect of the engineering workflow and some degree of freedom in choosing present and future projects to work on.
We are looking for a self starter with a willingness to learn and an eye for detail.
Flexible working and/or part time work will be considered.
The ideal candidate has a degree in electronic engineering or similar and preferably to 2 to 5 years experience in firmware, software, or hardware development.
Ideal skillset:
Python or Matlab
Electronics prototyping and debugging
PCB design
Experience with any of the following would be useful but not essential:
Embedded C/C++
FPGA and digital design, VHDL
Image sensors
Radiation effects
Fibre optic sensing or laser optics
High speed design
Qt
