Senior Network & Security Engineer Hybrid-Kent £70,000-£85,000
This is a permanent, working on a hybrid working basis so you must be able to commute to north Kent (near Maidstone/Sevenoaks) when required (usually 1-2 times per week) and would suit an ambitious mid level 3rd line Network Engineer or a senior Engineer looking for an opportunity to get involved in network solution design.
Salary on offer is between £70-85k + bens depending on seniority.
You will have a strong commercial background in high level Cisco networking (routing and switching), working on both troubleshooting and breakfix as well as project works to improve the network design, maturity of the network and evolve towards a cloud network environment. You will have contributed to network design and offer advice and ideas in solving network challenges within the environment. You will also be well versed in firewall provisioning, with Palo Alto.
Required experience:
- Cisco networking (at least to CCNP level)
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus ideally
- Palo Alto firewalls
- Infosec and security best practice
- ITIL
Additionally, any exposure to Azure from a networking perspective, TOGAF architecture framework or telephony experience (SIP etc) would be a bonus.
