We are seeking an experienced and versatile Commercial Gas/Multiskilled Engineer with expertise in air conditioning to join our clients dynamic facilities management team.
Based in Hampshire.
This is a key role within a leading building services business, where you will be responsible for providing reactive and planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair work across a range of commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Gas Maintenance and Repairs:
- Carry out maintenance, fault finding, and repair of commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating systems, and associated plant.
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safety regulations and maintain records in line with company procedures.
- Perform gas tightness tests, boiler servicing, and system efficiency assessments.
Air Conditioning:
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on various air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF systems, split systems, and ventilation units.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs to air conditioning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all works comply with F-Gas regulations and maintain certification.
Multiskilled Maintenance:
- Perform general building services tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs, to ensure efficient operation of facilities.
- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive works across a range of building services disciplines.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and internal teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Gas Safe registered with experience working on commercial gas systems.
- Relevant F-Gas certification for air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong background in multiskilled trades such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
