This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience, understanding, initiative – plus a strong drive to win – in campaigning to achieve real change.
Working as part of a campaign team towards the successful achievement of campaign objectives, you’ll undertake particular campaign projects and ensure the effective communication of campaign issues. Project work is likely to involve all of the following techniques: non-violent direct action, public communication and engagement activities, media work, political and corporate work and the use of legal and scientific approaches.
Your focus as a Campaigner will be on UK Climate. However, the role requires a willingness to work on a wide range of issues, as you may be contributing to any of our issue-based teams, including forests, oceans, plastics, air pollution or energy.
In exchange for your commitment and expertise we can offer you a friendly, fast-paced, immensely rewarding working environment where creativity is encouraged, ideas are supported, every day is different and where there's ample opportunity for personal development.
Location: Islington, London. Our hybrid working model enables us to enjoy the benefits of both office based and remote working. We ask that staff work from the office in Islington 40% of their time, with 20% required as a minimum. Reasonable adjustments as well as specific office based needs will be considered for those with long term health conditions and disabilities.
