About the Role:
Are you an experienced Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the energy sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented EC&I Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team, working on cutting-edge projects in the renewable energy, power generation, and industrial energy sectors.
As an EC&I Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and instrumentation for high-profile energy projects. You’ll be working across a variety of energy projects, including renewables (solar, wind, hydro), thermal power plants, and grid connection projects, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for energy-related projects.
- Work on PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for automation and control.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operation phases.
- Perform system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and fault resolution.
- Ensure all designs and installations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and field technicians.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in an EC&I engineering role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Proven experience with PLC and SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
- Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
- Familiarity with power generation, renewable energy, or industrial energy projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
