Role summary:
The Residential Installer Sales Manager’s job purpose is to sell our range of residential heating and ventilation products to new and existing heating installers.
As the Residential Heating & Ventilation market expands, this role is critical in enabling Mitsubishi Electric to continue to offer industry leading products and services to the market in the East Anglia Region
By supporting the customer journey and experience of specifying, installing, commissioning, and living with our Ecodan & Lossnay product, we will continue our industry leading trajectory in terms of sales derived from installers own projects, sales generated from our specified projects and switching competitor specifications.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Achieve agreed sales targets
- Develop, maintain and grow the number of heating installer customers who will purchase either directly or through our merchant partners.
- Identify, develop and manage small architects to ensure they specify our products in their project – these projects will typically be of no more than 5-10 properties.
- Work with their specification sales colleagues to secure our specified projects and then manage these projects through to successful handover.
- Ensure that all active trading customers are correctly trained and aim to sign them up as an accredited installer.
- Effectively manage their customers and activities in the CRM platform.
- Updates on defined territory in Weekly Team Meetings.
- Work with our credit team to ensure that all customers pay within their trading terms and conditions.
Experience:
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) or higher level in English & Maths.
- Computer literate and able to confidently use Microsoft programs such as Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) as well as managing Day to Day Activities in CRM.
- Full, current UK driving license.
- Ability to present CPD’s, Seminars, Toolbox Talks and Product Overviews and Demonstrations at our Regional Offices, Trade Shows or Customer Events.
- Track record of high level of creation of new accounts and expansion of existing clients.
- Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the residential heating market and supply chain – with a particular understanding of the heating installers and their needs and requirements.
