Junior Costs Draftsperson - Leeds - Up to £30,000 salary
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award winning, Top 100 UK law firm with a strong reputation in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims.
As the firm continues to grow, particularly within its Costs team, they are looking for a hard-working Junior Costs Draftsperson to work collaboratively with the existing team of Costs specialist, contributing to an award winning department.
Day to day you will be supporting Clinical Negligence Fee Earners by managing the administration of Costs on Clinical Negligence cases. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and gain a solid understanding of Costs law, Clinical Negligence and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
The Candidate
- Proven experience in a similar Costs role
- Understanding of Costs law, Clinical Negligence and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Strong organisational and numerical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise tasks, and handle a diverse caseload
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong legal acumen and leadership abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
