Our client is a well known UK brand with a national presence. They are looking for a Packaging Artworker to join their creative studio. The Packaging Artworker will report to the Design Manager and will work as part of the wider Brand and Marketing team.
The Role:
Working on a variety of own brand food and drink packaging, the Packaging Artworker will need a good eye for detail.
You will be responsible for owning your own artworking projects from layout through to QC and signing off for print.
It is essential that the Packaging Artworker is used to working in a quick turnaround environment where speed and accuracy go hand in hand.
The Packaging Artworker will ensure that all packaging is in line with brand standards.
You will keep up to date with packaging trends and make recommendations to the wider business on how to improve current packaging.
The Packaging Artworker will maintain artwork files and templates to ensure other members of the team are easily able to pick up their work.
Role Requirements:
Our client is looking for an Artworker with experience working on Packaging and a desire to advance their skills in this area. Or, a Packaging Artworker looking to continue in a pure packaging role.
The Packaging Artworker will need excellent knowledge of the Adobe CC
Strong understanding of the print and colour management process
Some experience working in a packaging software like Esko
A strong artwork portfolio with examples of packaging
Our client is based in Slough and work in a hybrid pattern with 1-2 days per week in the office. The salary is £30-£35k.
