We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Kier Professional Services (KPS) team based in Manchester.

Location: Manchester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

What will your responsibilities be?
\n
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be working within the Kier Professional Services team, supporting them with the delivery of a broad range of Electrical related services . You will also contribute to the delivery of more complex services
\n
What will your day to day activities include?
\n
- \n
- Outline engineering design from feasibility, deign briefs, or detailed user requirement specifications.\n
- Production of detailed specifications to facilitate compliance with client requirements, e.g. Control philosophy, Cable selection & calculations, Cable, Load, & Instrument Schedules, Instrument selection, Cable Block and P&ID Diagrams\n
- Production of, load analysis, field cabling design and discrimination in line with BS7671, using proprietary software.\n
- Review and sizing of transformers & generators.\n
- Preparations of Electrical Design work quotations.\n

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Electrical Engineer is great for you if:

- You are a technician or incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. EngTech MICE, IEng MICE, etc.)\n
- You have relevant postgraduate experience\n
- You have Electrical lighting design experience \n
\n
