We are working exclusively with an Aerospace Manufacturer who are looking for an ambitious Materials Controller to join the team, based in Warrington.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee inventory of aviation materials and parts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
To work in accordance with businesses methods and procedures
Complying with standard processes, specific area requirements and health and safety requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials necessary for maintenance and operations.
Conduct regular inventory audits and monitor stock levels.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast material requirements based on operational needs.
Provide support to other departments when required.

Job Benefits

Previous experience in materials control within the aviation industry is highly desirable.
Experience within defence, space, aerospace or automotive.
Understanding of aviation regulations and inventory management principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
Comfortable working to tight time frames with demanding quality requirements.
Candidates must demonstrate previous experience of using their own initiative.
High attention to detail, extremely organised and great communication skills.
Previous experience in a Manual Handling Role
