About the role…
We are now looking for a talented Vendor Contracts Associate to join our team. As a Vendor Contracts Associate, you will be leading the search and qualification of new vendors and analysing the required data to make informed decisions with regards to their suitability. You will also manage meetings between MRN colleagues and Vendor personnel, taking an active role regarding decisions on Vendor Governance. You will be required to build trusted and mutually beneficial relationship with vendors, maximising contract opportunities for both parties. Once engaged, you will work in partnership to finalise project scope, create RFP (request for proposal) documentation and costings requirements, and then negotiate, agree and execute contracts as needed.
As a Vendor Contracts Associate you will be responsible for:
- Searching for new vendors to meet MRN requirements and aligned with forecast demands
- Managing the vendor qualification and onboarding activities effectively and within specified timelines
- Partnering with vendors to collate and review required documentation
- Ongoing management of vendor performance, driving improvements and escalating risks where required
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications...
We are looking for a talented and results driven individual who pays rigorous attention to detail and can multi-task, problem solve and prioritise a complex workload. We are keen to hear from individuals with the following experience:
- Previous experience of vendor management and procurement processes
- The ability to professionally influence internal stakeholders and effectively engage with external vendors
- The ability to effectively interpret data and present back in an articulate and professional manner
- Prior experience MS Office is essential with exposure to Salesforce desirable
Where: This role will be office/home based (remote and hybrid working options are available, dependent upon location).
Contract Type: This is a Full-Time, Permanent position
