Modus Careers is thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading manufacturing company in Letchworth Garden City, who is searching for a CAD Designer to join their growing team.

As a CAD Designer, you will play a pivotal role in detailing designs for our client's products. You will combine your technical expertise with your design skills to draw, model and transform them into precise technical drawings. Responsibilities:

Utilise CAD software to develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models that embody design excellence.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and production specialists, to ensure seamless integration of design concepts.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, continuously expanding your knowledge to apply the latest design techniques.

Requirements:

1-2 years of professional experience as a CAD Designer within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and other design tools such as AutoCAD.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and design principles.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of technical drawings.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
A passion for design innovation and a curiosity to explore new techniques and technologies.
