Job Overview: They are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Solar Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale commercial solar projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of solar projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as with external stakeholders, to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial solar projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee all aspects of project planning, including site assessments, permits, procurement, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, installation) and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Manage risk, resolve issues, and ensure that all project documentation is completed accurately.
- Prepare project reports and present updates to senior management and clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial solar or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, design, and construction processes.
- Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
