Reporting to the Sales Director, the BDM plays a crucial role in driving business growth through lead generation and sales. This role is essential for expanding the clients UK operations, particularly focusing on promoting a comprehensive range of L&D services. This hybrid role requires travel to their office 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
Proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities, promoting a diverse range of learning solutions and services
Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, emails, social media, and industry events
Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline, with a focus on developing long-term relationships and building a portfolio of clients
Engage in consultative selling, understanding client needs and aligning solutions to deliver value
Translate client requirements into effective solutions, creating value through tailored learning services
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships
Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless client solutions
Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, providing regular updates on performance and ensuring CRM systems are fully up-to-date

Education
Any L&D related qualifications are desirable but not essential
Experience
Demonstrable experience in identifying and securing new clients
Experience in a consultative sales environment, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering appropriate solutions
Experience in selling L&D or HR solutions to senior stakeholders
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and commercial KPIs
