An exciting opportunity has arisen within our European Tax team for a dedicated and proactive Indirect Tax Manager. In this position, you will support indirect tax compliance and advisory matters across the European region.
Your mission
To navigate the constantly evolving landscape of indirect tax! You'll be working with the Indirect Tax Director, Europe to lead the way in making sure all tax obligations for our reliable established areas and exciting new territories are perfectly met, driving transformation and efficiencies in Brambles' VAT approach.
You will be a solution-oriented Indirect Tax Manager who takes pleasure in spearheading resolution of complex VAT issues and process improvements, including the development of SOPs, systems, tools, and best practices all the elements that add value!
Do you offer...
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in an indirect tax role, managing internal indirect tax affairs of multiple European jurisdictions
- Consultancy background from a Big 4/Tier A accountancy firm
- Recent experience gained from a blue chip in-house tax department
- Able to translate knowledge and understanding of European and jurisdictional VAT regulation into practical business advice
- Recognised professional accounting or tax qualification will be an advantage
