Job DescriptionOur Corby site have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Supervisor to join our Warehouse team on a fixed term contract until 31/12/2024.
Salary:£26,915 per annum plus 10% shift allowance.
Working hours:Continental shifts, 10am-10pm:
- Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
As a Shift Supervisor you willbe responsible forsupporting the Shift Manager in ensuring the handling and despatch of all customer products is achieved to optimum levels of cost and efficiency through the effective supervision and control of all staff and resources.
Key Duties of aShift Supervisor:
- Ensure all products in line withcustomers/clients specifications and quantities are picked/packed and dispatched to meet with required Service Level Agreement standards.
- Ensure the handling of all products is carried out to the highest standards of Health and Safety.
- Ensure optimum levels of stock integrity are achieved through understanding of all processes and procedures of Warehouse Operations.
- Supervision, guidance, support, instruction and trainingof all staff within areas of responsibility.
- Carry Out regular 1-2-1s and reviews with colleagues as prescribed in the performance management cycle.
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained against activity as required under Site Operating Procedures.
- Ensure all processes, daily checks, defect reporting, training and operations of MHE are conducted in line with both Company and Legislative Health and Safety Requirements.
- Support the commercial objectives of the business through a process of continual review.
- Carry out any other duties, which from time to time may be reasonably requested from the site management team.
Qualifications- A thorough understanding of all warehouse areas.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Experience of managing teams within a warehouse/production environment.
- Strong team player as well as able to work on their own initiative.
- Excellent time management skills and problem solving skills.
- Enthusiasm, drive and a can do attitude.
- PC Literate to a minimum of intermediate level in MS Office.
