Are you the right person for the job?
- CNC experience on Homag & SCM machines
- Experience of WoodWop and Maestro software to enable programming of CNC machines
- Knowledge of common panel production machinery, beam saw, edgebander etc.
- Fit and able to carry product
- NVQ L2 or equivalent in Bench Joinery (Desirable)
- Driving licence (willing to help with occasional deliveries in van)
- Fork lift licence (Desirable - not essential)
- Good communication skills
What will your role look like?
- Operate all production equipment including hand, power and commercial equipment in line with training and company procedures as directed by the Factory Supervisor
- Assemble kits of machined parts and machine and assemble bespoke products from engineering drawings
- To carry out regular checks and maintenance of equipment in line with company process
- Work from engineering drawings and advise on materials required for the order and construction method, checking and amending drawings and production paperwork as required
- Work with the team on new product and build prototypes
- Ensure sufficient tooling is available and manage tool maintenance with our outside supplier
- Work as part of a team
- Follow company production and assembly standards
- Keep the factory, warehouse and outside space in a tidy and safe state of operation
- Occasionally support the Installation Department with on-site work
