We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our compassionate team at 5 Dick O' Th' Banks (5DOB), a supported living service providing care to individuals with complex needs, including non-verbal communication and mobility challenges. This service offers a nurturing environment where people with unique personalities and tendencies thrive in a safe and supportive home. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care, ensuring the people we support live fulfilling, dignified, and independent lives.

About You:
You are a compassionate, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. You may already hold or be working towards a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Above all, you are passionate about providing both emotional and practical support to those with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless coordination within the team.
- Health and Well-being: Ensure care protocols are followed, including SALT guidelines for nutrition, mobility support, and personal care.
- Governance and Safeguarding: Manage risks effectively, following safeguarding protocols.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support a dedicated team, ensuring a high standard of care.
- Compliance: Ensure the service meets regulatory requirements in all aspects of care delivery.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional and practical support to the individuals we care for, helping them achieve their full potential.
