Keter, established over 76 years ago, are a global leader and manufacturer of plastic durable consumer lifestyle products including patio and garden furniture and indoor and outdoor storage solutions, in a rapidly expanding market sector.
They produce well known brands such as Curver, Stewart and Keter from manufacturing sites in Luxembourg, Italy, Holland and Spain, and their well invested site in Banbury, Oxfordshire, which operates 24/7, and houses injection and rotational moulding technology and sophisticated robotics.
Keter are now seeking to recruit a Head of Operations to play an instrumental role in the further development of this already successful manufacturing site, owning and delivering operational and supply chain strategies and driving continuous improvement to ensure business growth objectives and operational targets are met.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for a workforce of c200 across Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Health & Safety, Purchasing, Customer Services, Supply Chain and Demand Planning, motivating, inspiring and empowering team members to realise their full potential by supporting their continued development. Driving operational excellence, the Head of Operations will continue to embed the company culture and values – One Team, Accountability and Responsibility, Entrepreneurship and Agility.
Candidates must have proven Operational Leadership experience (Head of Operations/Plant Manager/Site Manager etc) with broad functional experience including supply chain. This experience will have been gained in a high volume, complex manufacturing environment – injection moulding/plastics processing experience is advantageous.
Capable of delivering effective change management, you will demonstrate agility, energy and enthusiasm achieving success through inspiring teams to engage and contribute, driving operational strategy and profitable growth, whilst retaining a ‘hands on’ approach, including the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
